DJ'ing Your Content
Simply stated, the best strategy for increasing your social media reach is to learn more about your audience and then do want they want. The more you know about your audience, the more focused your programming will be to attract listeners. After you know your intent and target--attracting listeners is best done by programming your unique personality and content like a DJ --with a well-honed playlist that presents your benefits and features. Many radio stations play the same music and contests--the tie-breaker is personality. It's the personality stations that relate and offer value to the listener that attract the biggest audiences.
DJ's program their music and bits with a strategic playlist that not only maintains their core audience, but offers new listening opportunities and value to new listeners. Here's a simple strategy: 1. Set Goals 2. Know Your Market 3. ID Target Listeners 4. Ask Questions of Your Core Viewers/Listeners 5. Continue to ask your listeners what they want -- then do it. 6. Strategically program your content like Top 40 radio stations.
The basic idea of programming is to have a well thought-out "playlist" that you rotate throughout the day. DJ'ing content for social media means that some content gets a higher rotation [visibility] than others -- like commercials, promotions, new articles, debates, photos, videos, podcasts, Q&A, blogs, or Twitter messages.
If you're not familiar with effective programming strategies, that's where I can help you out. I will post to your Facebook account, Tweet, and produce one radio commercial a month for you that could be posted to your YouTube, Google+ accounts and linked to Facebook, Twitter, etc. My base price for spots is $250 and $450 a month to keep your social media presence alive--the fairest price I've seen anywhere. Your presence on social media can vary; however, I recommend posting at key times, 2-3 times a day for maximum visibility.
I've produced commercials for William Lane Craig and Paul Copan --and some just for fun that you can check out on my website "MOONDOG RADIO COMMERCIALS" https://www.moondogradio.com/
